About the author:

Sarah has lived experience of epilepsy. One of her boys was diagnosed with epilepsy as a toddler. The protagonist in her book - Marvellous Miles, was inspired by her son and his behaviours and experience of an epilepsy diagnosis. 

She hopes that the book provides a catalyst for conversation between parents, carers, siblings, peers and those impacted by epilepsy. It normalises the experience of seizures, a daily medicine routine, EEGs, trips to the doctor's office and life with epilepsy.
